Method 1: How to Disable Windows 10 Automatic Updates in Windows 10

  • Step 1: Right click on the lower left corner of the “Windows” button, find the “Run” button, you can also use the keyboard shortcut “Win+R” to achieve.
  • Step 2: Type “services.msc” in the input box and click OK.
  • Step 3: In the Service Module Pop-up window, locate “Windows Update“.
  • Step 4: When you find “Windows Update” service, double-click to open, select “Disable” at the Startup type drop-down Menu, and click the “Apply” button.
